Travelers who wish to experience the sea view or night skiing should plan accordingly based on the opening hours, weather, and their physical condition on the day.
The number of participants, snow conditions, and facility opening times may change depending on the date. During class, practice locations will be adjusted based on the level of participants and the conditions on site.
Our Six Major Attractions｜Why should beginners come here?
① Snow ticket: Choose according to the required speed of the slide
First, confirm the type of ticket you need based on the class hours and learning progress of your class. Do not simply compare the number of cable cars or the size of the ski resort. The price of ski tickets and the terms of use are subject to the published rates for the season.
② Transportation: Confirm the shuttle service first, then arrange for class.
If you are departing from Sapporo or Otaru, please check the railway and ski resort connections to Senkaku Station in advance. For the connection dates, schedules, boarding locations, and whether reservations are required, please refer to the current season’s information and allow sufficient time for renting equipment and changing clothes.
③ Beginner practice: Choose a route based on your ability
The first time you ski, practice moving on level ground, braking safely, and controlling your speed. Then, according to the coach’s assessment, gradually increase the difficulty level. The ski resort also has different slopes; you should not consider all the slopes to be beginner-level slopes.
4. Sea views: Scenery other than skiing
When the weather and visibility are suitable, you can enjoy the view of Ishikari Bay. When taking photos, please stop at a safe location and do not block the snow path.

If you plan to go night skiing, please confirm whether the slopes are open and the transportation back to the hotel is available before departure. Daytime courses do not automatically include night skiing instruction.
⑥ Course: Beginners and families can learn at their own pace
Optional private lessons in Ski Double Boarding or Snowboard Single Boarding. Students in the same class should choose the same activity and have similar levels of ability; the instructor will arrange the practice based on age, fitness, and snow conditions.

How to choose ONZE among other Hokkaido ski resorts?

From Sapporo, take the JR train for 20 minutes to Senhoku, then take a bus directly to the ski resort or contact us to be greeted. After check-in, you can rent equipment or change your own equipment. If you need to rent equipment, please contact us. -
Beginner/Beginner Skiing Course Starts (~9:00- 12:00)
Under the guidance of the Snoway Academy coaches, beginners first practice basic movements in the flat area (skating, braking, standing, and gliding). -
Lunch break (~12:00-13:00)
The restaurant at the mountain peak of the ski resort serves simple dishes such as curry rice and ramen, and you can enjoy the sea view while eating. -
Advanced practice in the afternoon (~13:00-16:00)
Learn how to ride the cable car and challenge yourself on the beginner slopes with gentle slopes, experiencing the true fun of skiing. -
Night skiing experience(Optional)
