Questions answered

Common questions about coaching training

I don't have a coaching certificate. Can I still participate?

Yes. Personal training is available for aspiring professionals who do not yet hold a certification. Please let us know your level of proficiency and goals first so we can confirm the appropriate training content; this is not a zero-beginner ski experience class.

I already have L1/L2 qualifications; can I arrange for further study?

Yes. You can arrange targeted training based on the glide demonstration, instructional analysis, practice design, or your next-level learning goals.

What is the difference between this and the CASI certification course?

This training is designed to prepare for exams or provide additional teaching for individual goals. You can schedule one or more days of training at your convenience, without being bound by fixed class times. This training is not equivalent to CASI formal certification courses or assessments. To learn about exam dates and the Prep Course schedule, please visitCASI page.

How to choose pre-ski season training and regular training during the season?

Pre-season training focuses on restoring form, organizing processes, and helping the new coach integrate; mid-season training continues to address practical teaching issues. Teams can choose one of these options, or discuss a full-season schedule with us.

Can I go to a designated ski resort or training facility outside of Hokkaido?

You can inquire. Outside Hokkaido, individual confirmation is required; except for the six major ski resorts that are part of the main service, the partner must have the necessary teaching license for that ski resort. The partner arranges or covers the use of the outsourced ski resort, accommodation, and transportation; details will be discussed before the quote is finalized.

Is Chinese/Guangdong-style translation provided?

The training is conducted in English. If needed, Chinese/Cantonese translation services can be arranged; please request them when making an inquiry and confirm the relevant arrangements with us.

How to check fees and dates?

Personal training is calculated based on the ski resort, number of participants, and number of days; team training is priced separately. Please provide the number, level/qualification, training goal, location, and date to confirm the trainer’s schedule and arrangements.
