Anbi Plateau Ski Resort Introduction
Anbi Plateau is located in Hatahira City, Iwate Prefecture, in northeastern Japan. It combines skiing, resorts, dining, and hot spring facilities. For travelers who want to spend several days skiing in the same location, they can combine their practice sessions with post-class rest into the same itinerary, reducing the need to switch accommodation locations each day.
Ski-in/Ski-out Ski resort accommodation
To allocate more time for skiing, it is recommended to prioritize hotels that allow for both in-and-out skiing, reduce the daily transportation arrangements to the ski resort, and make it convenient to return to the hotel after class.
Go with your child, plan according to the level of their development
Before deciding on the course duration and whether to group students, a family should first determine each member's age and ski experience to avoid the learning rhythm being affected by differences in physical strength and level of experience.
Transferring from Morioka to the ski resort
You can travel to Anbi Plateau from Soromachi by bus. In winter, bus, rail, and local shuttle services have different schedules and reservation requirements. It is recommended to confirm transportation arrangements before scheduling class time.
Traffic schedules and facilities are subject to change based on the season and the actual situation on the day.View Anby transportation information ↗

CHINESE SKI & SNOWBOARD LESSONS
How to choose an Anbi Chinese ski course?
My first time skiing
Begin by learning about equipment, moving on level ground, and safe braking. When inquiring, please explain whether you have no skiing experience at all, so that we can confirm the appropriate course.
Beginners and junior trainees
Having basic experience, you can explain whether you can stop the car yourself and make consecutive turns, as well as any techniques you would like to improve, so that the course objectives become clearer.
Private classes for families and friends
Private lessons are suitable for travelers who wish to schedule their lessons in accordance with their peers. It is recommended that groups choose the same ski discipline and have a similar level of ability; group arrangements are subject to confirmation upon inquiry.
Skiing and snowboarding are different disciplines requiring different equipment and learning methods. When contacting an Anbi Chinese ski instructor, please specify the skill you wish to learn.
